We’ve designed 2 flexible options so your family can enjoy summer—and your child can keep growing. Whether you’re home all season or in and out of town, there’s a plan that fits.
Summer Option 1
1:1 Summer Progress Weeks (Grades K-12)
Keep your child on track with all of the progress they have made with focused, 1:1 summer support—flexible enough to fit around vacations, camps, and everything in between.
Each week includes 4 one-on-one sessions (Monday–Thursday)
Choose from 7 available weeks—only book the weeks you’re in town
🎯 Priority scheduling is given to current LU students.
Runs weekly June–August @scheduled time. (No sessions on the weeks of July 4 or July 24)
Summer Option 2
Six-Week Literacy Intensive (Grades 3-12)
Designed for students who need more time, repetition, or support to close learning gaps—this 6-week learning intensive offers daily, small-group instruction to build lasting progress in reading and writing.
2-hour sessions, Monday–Thursday (4 days/week)
Students grouped by age and skill level
Expert-led instruction that builds confidence and skills
Runs June 23–July 31 @9:00 AM or @12:00 PM (No sessions on July 3 or 24)

Designed for students already enrolled at Literacy Utah, these week-long intensives provide personalized instruction with your child’s current interventionist—perfect for keeping progress on track during a busy summer. 📌 We recommend signing up for at least 4 weeks to maintain momentum and continue closing gaps over the summer.

Tell me About: Six-Week Literacy Intensive
This six-week program is for students who need extra support with reading and writing—especially those with dyslexia or similar challenges. Groups stay small (5 students or fewer), and each session is led by a trained Literacy Utah specialist. Your child will get the structure, repetition, and encouragement they need to grow. 📌 Committing to all six weeks helps your child build strong skills, gain confidence, and finally feel successful with reading and writing.

2-hour sessions 4 days a week (Monday–Thursday) with a Literacy Utah specialist.
Small-group instruction (max 5 students) tailored by age and skill level
Focused support in reading, writing, fluency, comprehension, and spelling

Most summer programs lack the structure and expertise to truly help struggling readers—this one doesn’t
